Our World is So Loud. Seek the Silent

Our world has become dangerously toxically loud. We did this. And we try to drown out the noise with, yes, just a different sort of noise. Right now, my wife is watching The View and here in my office, I’m wearing my best headphones to listen to brown noise to drown it out. Not that I don’t like Whoopie, et al; I cannot work with that in my head and noise cancelling ear buds are a fake sort of silence.

Ergo, I do all that I can to find odd corners of my life where silence can be the loudest sound for many miles.
