It is so easy to be average these days.

If you long for greater things; to make a difference in the goodness of the world, then every day, just do a little bit more, just a little bit better.

To be average. To be fine. To be… well, okay. That’s nothing these days. Life is a bell curve, yes? A handful of outstanding people at the far right, a handful of people, many simply beaten down by life, at the far left, and the vast majority occupy the 68% or so in the middle. It is not difficult to be average. Fine. Okay.

If that’s where you want to be, that is a choice. It is not my place to judge. That is your job. But first, answer this; what will be your legacy? If you long for greater things; to make a difference in the goodness of the world, then every day, just do a little bit more, just a little bit better.
